So you think you're busy this holiday season? According to a Swedish consultancy, you've got nothing on St. Nick.
Their recently released report includes the following gems about Santa's Yuletide journey:
- Leaving from Krygystan will make for the most efficient route
and fewest detours
- He needs to make 2.5 billion stops at the homes of children
around the planet
- He'll be able to spend a total of 34 microseconds at each
stop to slide down the chimney, drop off the presents, nibble on the cookies and milk and hop back on his sleigh
(for those of you rusty on your metric system, a microsecond is one millionth of a second)
- Rudolph and the crew must travel at the brisk rate of 3,604
miles (5,800 kilometers) per second to deliver the presents on time.
However you spend to choose your holidays, we hope they are
healthy and happy. Let us know how we can make your days merry and bright in 2008!
